Datacom Senior Specialist

Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance and administration of the company's IT core network infrastructure and systems to provide the best possible network service levels for IT and other company systems.

Main Task

  • Performs maintenance and administration of the IT core network infrastructure;
  • Performs daily tasks to provide network connectivity and Internet access to corporate users, servers, customers and business processes;
  • Performs daily monitoring tasks for Data Network systems for performance and availability;
  • Performs hardware and software upgrades by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements;
  • Perform updates of IT Data Network topology documentation as required
  • Performs backup procedure for all IT data network configurations and operating systems

    Skills
  • Very good knowledge in switching, IP, routing, Dynamic routing protocols, VPNs, Network security, CCNP switching, Linux Administrator etc;
  • Knowledge of CNA/ CCNA Security/ CCNP;
  • Good Knowledge of MS office applications;
  • Work in group, working under stress and solve problems, self-management, responsibility and accountability, good communication skills;
  • Good knowledge of English;


Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in similar field;



Education

  • University Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer sience; Informatics Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering;
