Fix Broadband Specialist

Purpose of Position

Responsible for the fix Broadband service configuration and troubleshooting of Residential, Corporate, and bit stream customers on MSAN/DSLAM and DNS.

Main Task

  • To follow up and monitor service availability of all DSLAMs equipment of Fix Network.
  • To execute standard and preventive maintenance procedures for ensuring 100% service availability of DSLAMs equipment.
  • To perform necessary operations for configurations on new or existing customer services on MSAN, DSLAM, BRAS and DNS.
  • To perform necessary operations for troubleshooting of issues related to broadband service on MSAN, DSLAM, BRAS and DNS.
  • To take quick actions and resolve service related problems with high accuracy in shortest possible time.
  • To collaborate with other relevant teams for issue's solving.
  • To follow implementations of new services /systems in collaboration with other teams
  • To maintain and promote mutual cooperation within team.
  • To improve knowledge on Linux systems and DNS servers.
  • To improve knowledge and professional skills continuously.
Skills

  • Good knowledge of Unix/Windows based systems;
  • MSAN/DSLAM, BRAS and DNS operation and troubleshooting;
  • Good command of English Language;
  • Very good communication and team working abilities;
  • Available to work overtime when necessary;
Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in the same field;

Education

  • University Degree in Telecommunication / Computer Science / Computer Engineering;;
