Field Operation and Maintenance Specialist

Purpose of Position
Perform to preventive and corrective maintenance as per Albtelecom requirements and standards of Local cable network, from MDF to customer premises (civil and cables works) FO local network (civil and cables works)

Main Task

  • To follow activation process for New Activation, Move, Upsell, FO ect (physically part), fulfilling of standards, respect of limits, to evaluate specific cases etc.
  • Perform of of all networks update during the O&M activities
  • To follow TTs handling process (for PSTN, xDSL, IPTV, Dark fiber connection and each other case we are offering service to the our clients)
  • To follow from Contractor the optimal conditions for the operation and maintenance of the copper & FO networks through regular supervision in coordination with Contractor
  • To follow the application of the high technical and quality indicators/requirements of the cable (copper & FO) networks.
  • To follow all the assigned tasks, regarding the contracts Albtelecom has with third parties for the maintenance and repair services for the cable (copper & local FO) networks.
  • To follow implementation of the projects for the improvement, extension and the new cable (copper & local FO) networks.
  • To compile partial projects for changes, modifications or improvements of the cable networks, according to the respective changes/requests taking place in the sites.
  • To follow procedure of damaged hardware changing

Skills

  • Very good knowledge in GIS system and other professional programs like AutoCAD or MAPINFO.
  • Professional License for Construction and Supervising of Cable Networks
  • Organizing and team work abilities, with initiative and decision taker.
  • Availability beyond working hours as well as on holidays;
  • Very good English knowledge

Experience
• At least 2 years of experience in similar position.

Education
• University Degree in Telecommunication, Electronic/Electrical Engineering
