The SQL Developer is responsible for managing complex enterprise software implementations including ETL processes; writing complex T-SQL scripts, Troubleshooting slow running queries, Profiling Performance issues, reconciling financial data between source and destination databases; explaining how our software manages and manipulates data and how various financial calculations are performed in SQL; explaining our server architecture and SQL Server sizing and performance requirements; and, troubleshooting SQL server performance issues.
You will be the primary technical contact for the duration of the implementation projects and contribute to the overall project success and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Develop complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers and SSIS to support application development and data analysis
- Develop and design Tabular cubes and DAX queries
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing SSIS packages SQL Queries and stored procedures
- Perform regular code reviews of all SQL code
- Troubleshoot and analyze data discrepancy issues between two databases in ETL process
- Assist developers and support team in troubleshooting application performance by running and analyzing SQL profiler
- Assist developers in optimizing application performance by optimizing SQL queries or tuning indexing
- Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed Design and build back-end infrastructure for a cloud-native BI application, including ETL and reporting functions
- Collaborate with business analysts to define scope and goals, track milestones, delegate priorities, and report regularly to executive management
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ yrs. experience in a technology-oriented company
- Product/software implementation experience in legal and/or finance is a highly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must; this position involves a significant amount of direct customer interaction
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills; candidates must be detail-oriented
- Results oriented, resourceful, comfortable working under tight deadlines with a demanding set of internal and external customers
- Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Excellent hands-on skills with MS Office products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)
- Proficiency in back-end tools:
- SSIS
- SSAS (Tabular is a plus)
- SQL management studio and SQL Profiler (Must)
- Strong understanding of the data ecosystem: relational databases, data warehouses, ETL, data integrity, and the flow of data within an enterprise
- Proficiency with additional scripting languages is a plus
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of data security best practices
