Freelancer full-time or a part-time WordPress Developer
Responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plug-ins.
Required Qualifications and Skills :
· Must have profile on Upwork platform
· Expertise with PHP development and network systems
· Good knowledge with CSS preprocessors
· Strong skills on Wordpress platform
· Proven 3+ years experience in creating and modifying WordPress Themes
· Proficient skills in HTML & CSS and solid understanding of web standards and responsive design techniques; client-side web development scripting languages
· Be familiar with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries
· Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
· Proficiency in using version control systems (VCS) such as Git and Github
· Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
· Flexibility to work both independently and with a team to handle multiple tasks in a team environment and tight deadlines
· Great organizational skills and ability to estimate time and level of effort for front-end&back-end development tasks
Responsibilities:
· Develop software, upgrades/patches, and testing for WordPress sites
· Develop responsive, standards-compliant HTML and CSS3 themes for WordPress
· Install, test and debug WordPress plugins and develop new plugins or changes on installed as needed
· Evaluate designs, wireframes and other deliverables during the design and user experience phase for potential development issues and flag problems appropriately
· Conduct review of themes created by other developers
· Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display in major supported browsers on Mac, PC, iOS and Android platforms
· Communicate the intricacies of complex web development issues
· Review prototype functionality for internal purposes and clients
· Review project documents
