Fier, ofroj vend pune Security Expert - Fier (offshore oil & gas industry)

EPPC Albania on behalf of its client, a BIG INTERNATIONAL COMPANY, subcontractor of Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), is currently recruiting a Security Expert - Fier (fixed-term contract).

Major Responsibilities:

• Perform security activities as request by Security Manager and Corporate Guideline;
• Give technical and organizational support to project security activities;
• Ensure the application of Corporate and division standards, procedures and guidelines, monitoring the compliance of project Security Services as per contracts, quality, costs, budget and timing of sub-contractors;
• Perform the evaluation of the project security services ensuring security policy is adhered to and the operational effectiveness of all procedural, physical and technical security measures is maintained at all times;
• Define and perform the training activities (security induction) and drill (security drill also with HSE dept.) and participate in the training of new employees as directed;
• Support the Security Manager in liaising with Local Authorities, Law Enforcement and Sub-contractors;
• Support the Security Manager to ensure and perform the risk assessment and upgrade of documents also includes maritime security and offshore activities
• Monitoring the worksite access control and restricted areas;
• Provide security and administrative support at the Maritime Center and Port Authority as necessary in liaising with Security Manager;
• Conduct work-site security inspections;
• Ensure all official security records and paperwork is administered effectively;
• Under direction of the SM, to provide an out of hours response to security incidents, assisting in the coordination of security resources and management of any emergency response.

Requirements for this position are:

• Deck Officer Degree/Diploma;
• Resident in Fier county or available to move and work in Fier;
• 2-5 years of experience in security out of which 2 years covering position of responsibility and autonomy;
• Good English;
• Full awareness of International laws concerning Maritime Security, ISPS code, port law, security of port facility (preferably certification as Port Facility Security Officer);
• Knowledge of main International laws regarding navigation and SOLAS;
• Good knowledge of national law and local port regulation.
