Purpose of position:
'To plan and follow indoor and outdoor coverage and capacity increase for 2G/3G/4G/WiFi systems with acceptable costs.
Main Tasks
- Perform Site Survey, evaluate candidates and efficient selection;
- Dimensioning the 3G RAN network and LTE network according to the coverage, capacity and quality requirements;
- RSD and RNP planning and preparation for new site roll-out;
- Provide monthly network coverage maps of Albania;
- Using Planning (Asset) tool to input and extract data, model tuning and validation of propagation parameters and generating predictions (2G/3G/4G);
- Prepare RAN related RfPs and evaluate offers;
- Plan and survey for micro site location and DAS;
Skills
- Knowledge in: Tems Investigation, Actix, iManager U2000, BSS6900, MapInfo, Tektronix, Asset Enterprise, Atoll
- Problem solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good command of English language
- Very good knowledge of MS Office programs
- Available to work overtime when necessary
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Radio Network Planning and Optimization for 2G/3G/4G networks
Education
- University Degree in Telecommunication, Electronic or Informatic Engineering;
