We are seeking a new Head of Country for our growing RepresentativeOffice located in Tirana. You must be an experienced leader, able to delivergrowth and profitability in accordance with the expectations of agreed annualand long term business plans, capable of setting strategic direction as well asdriving delivery and implementation. You will possess outstanding interpersonaland communication skills alongside diplomacy, motivational skills, integrityand tact to enable sustainable partnerships both internally and externally.
As a leader, you will create and foster a culture of openness, andempower teams and individuals to be creative and innovative to ensure targetsare consistently achieved. Working with the Regional Director in settingcorporate’s strategic direction, you will support and develop the SeniorManagement Team to ensure sufficient capability and capacity is in place tomeet agreed business objectives.

The desired candidate must have a successful sales & marketing based careerin pharmaceutical background. The ideal person will work closely with a broadrange of internal and externals stakeholders including wholesalers, retailpharmacy chains, regulatory bodies, KOLs and medical institutions, localcommercial organizations, and incorporate executive directors.

Job Description
The Incumbent will be responsible for all top line & Bottomline growth / profitability of business in assigned country. Reporting to thecompany's Regional Director his/her duties and responsibilities will includethe following:

  • Personnel in charge of: Sales, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory Operations, Human Resources, etc.
  • Ensure the company strategy in the country
  • Make High level decisions.
  • Achieve the penetration of the company brands in country.
  • Generate adequate and growing results (EBITDA) that show the health of the business, continuous growth, and good business development.
  • Contact with KOLs (key opinion leaders) to promote the company
  • Contact with local pharmaceutical distributors to create successful commercial operations
The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or Engineering
  • Bachelor Degree in Science or Business
  • Master's degree (MBA or similar) from a prestigious business school will be valued.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience of Sales in Pharmaceutical industry with most recent focus on Urology and Neurology Areas (minimum 4 years).
  • Experience of dealing with local Regulatory Authorities in the past.
  • Experience in “Representative Office” business model is preferred.
  • Experience in increasing company value will be valued.

  • Focused on the achievement of planned objectives, which are the company's ultimate goal.
  • Advanced English Level, Turkish is a big plus
