Our client is a mobile operator company with an ambitious aim for enhancing their market share and achieving impressive business results. In view of strengthening its financial function and having a clear picture on how the business develops, the company is looking for an experienced and dedicated professional for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Chief Financial Officer (Ref: CFO/F)
Based: Tirana
The jobholder reports to the CEO and the Board of Shareholders. He/she will have full responsibility for all financial management aspects of the company operations by: building and managing the overall financial and accounting function of the company by ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and business specifics; formulating and administering the company’s financial policies, developing long- term financial goals and objectives; overseeing budgeting, planning and cost management; exercising cashflow monitoring and control over investment of funds; managing the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses and information reports for the local authorities and the Board of Shareholders; establishing and maintaining appropriate internal control safeguards; organizing the maintenance of record systems in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards; acting as liaison for the annual external audit, Tax authorities and other public government agencies; maintaining relations with banks and coordinating external financing; ensuring compliance with all appropriate financial and legislative regulations; managing and developing the Finance Department of the company.
Successful candidates should possess solid professional background in financial management. Other important characteristics for this role are:
· University degree in Finance, Business Administration or Management (Master’s degree, especially an MBA would be an advantage)
· At least 5 years of working experience on a relevant position
· Excellent leadership, organizational, coordination and analytical skills
· Strong ability for written communication
· Mature personality, willing to work independently and take responsibility
· People management skills
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and local accounting software packages
· Fluent English
