Hilton Garden Inn Tirana is hiring: SALES MANAGER

Position Purpose
To develop the commercial strategy that positions the hotel as the market leader within the defined competitive set
To execute all necessary pro-active and re-active sales, e-commerce, marketing & PR activities to exceed owners expectations in regards to revenue generation and market share

Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Analise competitors’ activities and pricing strategy, trends of business by market segment, channel and GOB and performance of existing customers
  • Schedule & execute detailed action plans to support the Revenue generation in all segments and departments.
  • Develop & execute effective out-bound sales activity plans to further increase revenues and out compete the competition
  • Actively manage key accounts (all segments, including GCE)
  • Ensure that all rates are loaded correctly in systems / channels
  • Design, gain agreement for, the hotel’s marketing plan & execute
  • Ensure that the hotel is well marketed on Internet and other distribution channels, liaise closely with E-Commerce
  • Assist in recruiting, selecting Sales Executives.
  • Lead the team of Sales Executives, ensuring that they work for a great boss and are well trained and equipped to exceed sales targets in all segments of the business (GCE, Room Sales, F&B)
  • Facilitate regular sales training for Sales Executives and other departments to help driving revenue generation
  • Be visible in the operations and actively support the team through times of stress

- Relevant degree, in sales, business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution
- Positive attitude and good communication skills

- Strong leadership skills, whereas it is evident that you can effectively manage and motivate a team to perform beyond expectations
- Strong analytical skills so to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
- Excellent selling capabilities and the ability and desire to coach selling techniques to Team Members
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent grooming standards
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work well under time pressure and/or demanding travel schedules
- Demonstrated previous experience in a Sales role with the proven ability to close a sale
