Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setup, management, and maintenance of IT-related equipment.
- Support end-users with IT-related problems in a responsive and service oriented manner.
- Monitor backup jobs and ensure high level of completion success rate.
- Manage time and projects effectively.
- Assist with the troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of systems, servers and PCs.
- Able to install, configure, troubleshoot and support Windows clients
- Perform other duties as necessary
Education and Experience
- a minimum of three years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a technical field (such as CIS or IT)
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge and utilization of engineering tools necessary for successful performance of the essential functions of this job description
- Must demonstrate proficient ability to capture and document software requirements
- Certifications on particular systems or technologies are preferable.
