Urban Research Institute (URI) is requiring to employ an experienced junior environment, construction or hydraulic engineer or an urban planner to fill the vacancy. URI is searching for a person who has a working experience of not less than 3 years. The main scope of the work consist in conducting researches related to environmental, urban planning and design for project that URI is implementing.
Position:
Junior Environmental, Construction, Hydraulic Engineer or Urban Planner
Duties and responsibilities:
· Prepare, review and update reports related to specific projects of the company in regards to the above mentioned fields.
· Provide technical solutions for environmental projects.
· Analyze scientific data.
· Research and propose for projects related to environment sector.
· Propose environmental improvement activities
· Urban Design and cost estimate of public service delivery and related infrastructure
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelors or Diploma degree in engineering (Environmental) or equivalent preferably with advanced degree.
· not less than 3 years of experience in any of related fields;
· Proficiency for written and spoken English;
· Good environmental, urban planning analytical skills;
· Good communication and interpersonal skills; and
· Very good skills of research and reporting,
· Good general computer skills
· Good particular computer skills in using design, mapping and GIS software’s
The candidate is required to present a master diploma and the list of marks of main courses that has conducted during the university studies.
