Tasks
Installs, configures and upgrades operating systems and client software, using standard business and administrative
packages
Installs, assembles and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners
and related hardware
Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software like Microsoft Outlook
e-mail, Internet Explorer 8, Microsoft Office 2010, Windows 7 or 8 problems in a domain environment, network and peripheral
equipment problems; and make repairs and corrections where required
Requirements
Preferably a minimum of 1 year experience in the related position
Very good knowledge of Windows Client Operation Systems: Windows 7 and 8
Very good knowledge of Windows Desktop Software like Office 2010, Outlook 2010, Microsoft Internet Explorer configuration
and TCP/IP network protocols
Good knowledge of Windows imaging software’s like Ghost and Acronis
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision or work in a team-oriented project
Certifications are an asset
