Teach Away Inc. is currently on the lookout for a top-notch Front-End Developer to join our team in designing and developing innovative digital platforms. As a growing global recruiter, we specialize in sending English speaking teachers to teach abroad.

In your role as Front-End Developer, you will be expected to work as an integral part of software development team to code front-end designs using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.



Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Develop highly interactive and robust user-facing features across desktop and mobile web platforms
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated in cross-browsing and devices before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members
• Develop good relationships with other team members and continually communicate with them

Requirements:

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic knowledge of scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Some understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
• Extremely thorough, detail-oriented, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple parallel projects
