PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A Web Developer's job may involve managing more than one design brief at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job. Typical activities include:
- Interpreting the business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
- Estimating the time required to complete the work;
- Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts;
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
- Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches;
- Solid understanding of AJAX, HTML5, Javascript, CSS3
- Familiarity with source control systems
- Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites.
- Reference designs already developed
- Bachelors/Masters degree (preferably in Graphic Design, Computer Science or Information Systems) and software development/programming certifications;
- Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software and Layout Skills;
- Exceptional creativity and innovation;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Creativity, Flexibility, Accuracy and attention to detail;
- An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment;
- Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines;
- Must be team-oriented and have excellent oral and written communication skill;
- Demonstrated ability to solve moderate to complex application problems independently;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Efficient working and ability to learn
