Roadfreight Operator/Sales

- Previous face-to-face/telephone sales experience preferred
- Confident approach to meeting and presenting to potential customers
- Driving licence
- Transport Knowledge
- Microsoft Excel / PC literate
- Coordinate the shipment arrangement with the clients/KN Network/subcontractors and other service providers
- To have experience as a freight forwarder especially in Roadfreight
- Willing to learn and work in team
- Able to work smart and under pressure
- Ensure the Tia Overland Departemnt meets all the legal requirements,statutory obligations and Health and Safety requirements and adheres to all internal Companypolicies.
- Liaison with carriers/sub-contractors regarding Overland rates to/fromthe respective country
- Timely completion of any rates required for the completion of bidsgenerated by third parties
- Ensure that a profit is made on all business sold (% margin to bedetermined)
- Attend to all administrative work on new accounts – roadfreight instructions, credit aplications, account numbers, working instructions, StandardOperating Procedure, special rquirements etc.
- Preparation of proposals and quotations
· Responsible for carriers/sub-contractors selection – asper KN guidelines and Rate ngotiations
· Implementing and follow up the shipment orders. Follow up the routingof the shipments
