Bar Manager, Abu Dhabi, UAE (salary NET 1500$/month)
Position: Bar Manager (Female)
Salary: Initial salary will be 1500$ (USD) net per month + tips + bonus on performance
Duties and responsibilities
Your main duties are to make sure your customers are happy, that there’s plenty of stock behind the bar and that your staff know how to provide great service. But, as with any time served behind a bar, there’s a lot more to it than that….
- Training, evaluating and motivating your staff
- Managing the shift timings of the various staff
- Insist on good service from the employees as this what makes customers come back
- Be present during peak business hours and ensure smooth running of the bar
- Interact with the regular customers
- Dealing with difficult customers
- Enforcing health and safety rules
- Doing regular stock-takes and ordering as necessary
- Handling deliveries
- Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cash flow
- Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises
- Report to the owners of the bar about the business
- Know about the latest beverages and foods and introduce them in the bar

Selection criteria:
- Age between 24 – 38 years old
- Minimum 1 year related job experience
- Excellent communication English skills
- Knowledge of a second language if preferable
- Clean criminal record is a MUST
