Title: Manager of National Awareness Campaign (MNAC)& assist
Organization: Albanian National Center on Blind Rehabilitation
Project: “A vision for employment”, towards a sustainable approach for the inclusion of people with disabilities and sight impairments in Albania’s labour market
Type of Contract: Part- time
Duration: 40 days
Summary of Key Functions:
The project is recruiting a MNAC & assist to:
i) facilitate workshops and ensure effective, local, regional and international meeting activities based on 3rd Component of the project;
ii) ensure effective communication with project stakeholders through posters, brochures, fact-sheets, regular meetings and project updates; and
iii) Designing an awareness campaign aimed at bringing the issue of employment rights of persons with disabilities to the center of social inclusion policy discussion and public attention in Albania.
The MNAC & assist will need an in-depth knowledge of – and experience in:
i) strategic planning for efficient meetings;
ii) communicating with government, NGOs, PWD and community stakeholders;
iii) Strategic planning for national awareness campaign.
iiii) organize and lead 1 international, 7 regional, 16 local meetings.
Travel:
The MNAC & assist will be expected to travel to the Albania’s 12 regions.
Qualifications and Experience
a) Education
• An advanced post-graduate degree at or above MSc level in Social Sciences, Politics, Marketing or a related discipline with at least 10 years of experience in this field.
b) Experience
• Experience in training's for persons with disability (PWD)
• Experience in workshops and meetings planning and facilitating;
• Experience in strategic campaign and publicity planning.
c) Competencies
• Knowledge of the governing structures in Albania;
• The ability to work independently and effectively to achieve project targets.
d) Languages:
Albanian and English are the working languages for the position. Excellent English writing skills are required.
