THE COMPANY
A large production company with potential growth in Albania with more than 1,000 employees is looking for the following positions:

1. Finance Manager
  • Over 3 years of relevant experience in production industry.
  • Knowledge of Albanian Accounting Standards and International Accounting Standards.
  • Experience on preparation of internal and external financial reports and analyses.
  • Knowledge of auditing procedures. Previous experience with International Accounting firms an asset.
Main duties:
  • Oversee the entire financial aspect of the company. Ensure compliance with local government reporting requirements and international financial reporting standards.
  • Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports. Oversee the entire G/L, account maintenance and data entry.
  • Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
  • Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
  • Establish and implement short-and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
2. Cost Accountant
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the financial analysis field.
  • Knowledge of Albanian Accounting Standards.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting.
  • Experience on preparation of internal and external financial reports and analyses.
As part of the Financial Management Team he/she should assist the financial controller in fulfilling the following:
  • Review the monthly accounts and bring all the issues for discussion.
  • Prepare a summary with most significant highlights (production, cost, ratios, etc), with proper explanations for unreasonable fluctuation or out-ranged figures.
  • Ensure that the monthly reports are submitted in timely basis as required.
  • Investigate issues which are addressed to him/her by the controller and prepare a report with all facts and recommendations on how to mitigate the issue.
  • Follow up the completion of tasks given to branch managers and make sure that the proper remedy is taking place for the matter raised.
  • Other duties as needed.
3. Treasurer
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar positions.
  • Experience of Banking System is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Albanian Accounting Standards
Main Duties:
  • Manage the daily cash balances and transfers of funds in and out;
  • Reconcile periodically bank accounts.
  • Keep a full and accurate account of receipts and payments;
  • Process the disbursements as authorized by the managements;
  • Ensure that a company's cash flow is adequate to allow it to operate effectively;
  • Forecast cash payments and anticipating potential challenges arising from limited cash flow.
  • Communicate with company departments, such as purchase, production etc.
  • Supervise the work of the junior members of staff;
  • Maintain relation with banks and other financial institutions by maintaining positive, long-term working relationships.
