Teach Away Inc. is currently on the lookout for a top-notch Web Designer to join our team in designing and developing innovative digital platforms. As a growing global recruiter, we specialize in sending English speaking teachers to teach abroad.
In your role as Web Designer, you will be expected to work closely with our marketing department to design graphics for print or web.
We’re looking for a talented designer who wants to solve problems by creating digital products and services people want to use.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Use your visual and UI design skills to solve problems and guide your work through implementation
Collaborate with our marketing team on sketches, prototypes and mockups for products and services
Dream up ideas, explain them to the team and incorporate feedback that helps make your designs outstanding.

Have a Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in a design-related education

Is this you?
- Understand what makes great digital products and services and know how to bring them to life
- Have a strong understanding of interface and experience design principles, and know when to follow the rules and when to break them
- Can clearly explain the thinking and rationale that went into your work to both coworkers and clients
- Have a portfolio of well-crafted products and experiences that demonstrate your talent as a designer
- Are a quick learner who’s comfortable with the unknown and enjoys diving into complex problems
- Have 3+ years of experience in a design role
Software Knowledge Required
- Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Fireworks
- Illustrator or InDesign
