[FONT=&quot]Terre des hommes (Tdh), a Swiss foundation based in Lausanne, without preoccupation of political, racial or confessional bias, has been active in Albania since 1993. Based on its Charter and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Terre des hommes intervenes in 35 countries to improve the situation of children, to protect their fundamental rights and to guarantee their rights and access to healthcare. In Albania, Terre des hommes has been implementing projects for over 12 years to tackle issues of child trafficking and child protection. Terre des hommes is now looking into the opportunity to intervene in the health sector in partnership and collaboration with different local and international stakeholders.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Terre des hommes is seeking to recruit a Procurement and Rehabilitation Engineer[/FONT][FONT=&quot] to evaluate, plan and design the rehabilitation/reconstruction activities and follow up tender procedures.[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

· Evaluate and assess reconstruction/rehabilitation and equipment needs in regions covered by the project
· Plan and design of rehabilitation/reconstruction activities including costs and time frame for the implementation considering disaster risk management
· Prepare, implement and supervise tender procedures, including local procurements for medical equipment

[FONT=&quot]Qualifications and experiences[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]University Degree in Engineering or any other relevant background[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]At least 5 years of experience in construction projects and procurement field [/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]Excellent knowledge of the Albanian tender and procurement procedures and legislation[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

· [FONT=&quot]Excellent speaking and writing skills of Albanian and English[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]The titular will conduct his/ her duties in respect of the Child Protection Policy and the Convention of the Rights of the Child. [/FONT]
