Aleat Sh.p.k., is an Albanian Joint Venture company of Morpho (previously Sagem Sécurité) and the Albanian - American Enterprise Fund (AAEF).
For our organization we are looking for a: IT Project Manager M/F.
SUMMARY
IT project manager is the primary technical interface between Aleat project team, implementing partners (in the target government organization, private companies and NGO) and all consultants and services providers in the project’s activities
In cooperation with IT Manager, he oversees choice of technology platforms and development of software and hardware systems as appropriate and in coherence with Aleat IT Strategy.
IT Project Manager participates in the design and the implementation of multi-language solutions, plans, organizes, and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact.
He/she coordinates the work of other IT professionals and administrative staff, organizing people and time resources, and seeing the project through from inception to completion.
IT Project Manager has ultimate responsibility for meeting the business’s or client’s needs.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. University Degree in one of these branches: Software engineering/ development / Computer programming / computing / Information technology / Business Management / Engineering.
2. Excellent knowledge of web site design and usability, as well as modular online platforms.
3. IT and programming skills mastering of:
• Web technologies such as: PHP/MySQL, HTML5/CSS, Javascript and XML, Flash
• Mobile applications, CMSs (Drupal, SPIP) and Open sources technologies
• Security issues, encryption
• Online support solutions
• Server administration
4. Excellent organizational, time and project management skills and Experience working in international development.
5. Committed, structured and delivery-focused approach.
6. Diligent and responsible approach with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to details.
7. Proven track record of web project management skills including managing release schedules, writing technical specifications and documentation in English.
8. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
9. Ability to work in team, to plan for flexibility at a program design level, and to handle change is essential.
10. Ability to follow-up, report and project activities.
11. Ability to direct and supervise work of others and operate in a team environment.
12. Self-development skills to keep-up-to-date with fast-changing trends.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Developing project plans, goals, and budgets; identifying resources needed.
2. Preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products.
3. Prepare work plan, design and establishing deadlines, schedules and methods for measuring results.
4. Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications.
5. Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project.
6. Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
7. Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities.
8. Writing and update of specifications.
9. Liaising with all team members around each IT project (graphic designer, content Testing: design and execution of test plan against functional requirements.
10. Design and implementation of performance indicators, including statistics, to evaluate performance.
11. Manage external service providers and consultants, partners on the IT aspects.
12. Actively monitor and evaluate progress against the project’s initial objectives.
13. Regularly revise work plans and project orientation with the IT Manager.
