• Sr. Application Development Leader in Qatar

Albanian HR Solutions is a company providing services in Executive Search, General Search & Recruitment, Career Management and Consulting based in Tirana (AL).
The company is a joint group of experts in the Human Resources area.

On behalf of our client, one of the largest infrastructure firms in the Middle East we are looking for a potential candidate for the position of Sr. Application Development Leader in Qatar.

General Summary: Support an effective legal/regulatory compliance program across IT - designed to prevent, detect, report and remedy compliance gaps. Partner with other Business areas and Infrastructure Operations Forward looking in anticipating and identifying future technology impacts and preparing the Information Management organization’s foundation to meet future demand.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure applications are available per business SLAs, and providing daily service status, measured by monthly SLA and operating report
- Accountable for issue triage, including application incident management and reporting
- Responsible for production best practices, technical and operating standards (e.g. Run time improvements, Data Quality improvements) and workflow process
- Partner in the Post Implementation and Warranty project phases, also approve deferred defects
- Accountable for facilitation and communication of issues defined as high/critical business impact across IT and business, to resolution.
- Accountable for managing the various escalation processes for multiple work efforts including issue Tickets, Service Request Issues, Root Cause Analysis, and /or Escalated Workarounds
- Keeps well abreast of emerging industry trends and brings this to practice within Cigna. Must pay attention to details during the testing phase of large, critical deliverables.
- Reports to the Senior Director responsible for the overall Information Management
- Comfortable negotiating with and presenting to IT and business executives at the Director and Vice President level
- Capable of driving alignment across the technology organization
- Responsible for directly managing a team of 10 to 20 people and influencing the work of 100 people.
- Manages a budget of approximately $1M - $3M Comfortable negotiating with, influencing and presenting to IT and business executives include IT Executive leaders and their directs

Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related
- CCNP, CCIE Certification
- 18+ years experience in designing and implementing application and systems solutions in a development environment
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in similar team leader (or equivalent) role.
- Experience of designing and developing application and/or software solutions in a development environment.
