Program Manager – IT in Qatar

The company is a joint group of experts in the Human Resources area.
On behalf of our client, one of the largest infrastructure firms in the Middle East we are looking for a potential candidate for the position of Program Manager – IT in Qatar.
General Summary: Program Manager manage complete project life cycle from start up to closeout. Lead the planning and implementation of project, facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables, define project tasks and resource requirements, develop full scale project plans, assemble and coordinate project staff, manage project budget, plan and schedule project timelines, track project deliverables using appropriate tools, provide direction and support to project team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing Detailed Cost Estimates for IT Projects.
- Identifying Technical requirements, Project Scope Planning, preparing RFP accordingly.
- Constantly monitor, and present reports defining project progress, problems, solutions, evaluations, and assessment of results.
- Creates and executes Project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Assist Head of Section in Preparing Annual Work Plan and Budget estimates.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a Project and Scope.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards, prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Undertake complete Project / Tender Evaluation (Technical & Commercial) in coordination with concerned team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related
- PMP, PgMP Certification
- 10+ years’ experience as a project manager. Experience in Managing IT Infrastructure & Security Projects with awarded consultants/vendors from Start till End.
- Experience in Undertaking Datacenter projects, Systems & Networks Infrastructure Projects etc. Exclusive Experience required in PMI based Project management methodology..
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written English level
