The company is a joint group of experts in the Human Resources area.
On behalf of our client, one of the largest infrastructure firms in the Middle East we are looking for a potential candidate for the position of Sr. IT Security Specialist in Qatar.
General Summary: Sr. System Admin Expert participates on, and provides technical leadership to, project teams, clarifying business needs and requirements, performing analysis, design, development, integration and maintenance of systems across the enterprise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze, Plan Systems Infrastructure and back up for Data storage, implement storage capacity, and prepare annual budget for upcoming year.
- Establish standards and maintain updated documentation for all systems implementation, development and projects.
- Ensures availability of servers to support operational needs of ASHGHAL, access rights, Active Directory / Exchange and MSSQL Databases, and monitoring of User accounts to optimize the performance.
- Administer, manage and monitor HP Storage Area Networks, HP Blade Servers/chassis and SAN switches.
- Analyzes hardware and software for acquisition and applies fixes and patches to the servers.
- Analyzes system failures and executes procedures to restore operations.
- Maintain data integrity, virus protection, BACKUP and handle disaster recovery procedures.
- Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environments
- Analyze user problems, system logs, determine root causes, troubleshoot, and potential issues with computer systems, direct to appropriate problem resolution teams and follow up.
- Provide information system security examinations covering risk matrix design, Policy review, policy implementation assurance, penetration testing, evaluation of firewall configuration, security procedures, disaster recovery/business continuity planning, acceptable use policies, etc.
- Develop, modify risk, Plan and conduct information technology-based audits programs, application system reviews, and general computer control reviews Company- wide with a minimum of supervision.
- Follow-up to issued recommendations. Participate on technology-based initiatives to provide security and controls expertise and audit insight.
- Will participate in the review and scanning of applications, develop and revise security checklists, and review security certification documentation.
- Communicate audit results to all levels of management and gain agreement to corrective actions.
- Provide Information Systems Security Audits and Risk Assessments.
- Prepare work-paper documentation supporting conclusions, and issue written reports for each assignment to identify and explain deficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related
- CISSP, SSCP
- 10 years proved experience in managing Information Systems Security infrastructure in a large scale environment.

- Excellent verbal and written English level
