The company is a joint group of experts in the Human Resources area.
On behalf of our client, one of the largest infrastructure firms in the Middle East we are looking for a potential candidate for the position of Sr. Datacenter Specialist in Qatar.
General Summary: Manage day-to-day activities such as administering, diagnosing, documenting, resolving technical Data Center infrastructure problems, and monitoring assigned areas of responsibility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Expert knowledge and practice in DHCP, DNS, Email and MS Active Directory Services, Windows 2008/2003 AD domain, design and implementation.
- Analyze and understand HP Servers, Blades, backup and virtualization technologies such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper V.
- Expert with Windows clustering, Microsoft IIS/FTP, enterprise Storage and Internet computing technologies.
- Monitor and manage the data center facilities infrastructure, including normal and emergency power systems, power distribution systems, rack power systems, IP KVM, cooling systems, fire suppression systems, Environment Monitoring Systems, cable management systems ,etc.
Qualifications:
- Certified Data Centre Engineer certification
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related
- 15+ years of experience in Data Centre environment and System Administration.
- 7+ Years recent experience shall be in Datacenter Infrastructure Management.
- Experience in setting up and implementing Tier3 Datacenters Minimum 5 years’ experience in a lead role – managing Datacenter Engineers & Support Specialists
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills are required
- Excellent verbal and written English level
