The company is a joint group of experts in the Human Resources area.
On behalf of our client, a well known company in Qatar we are looking for a potential candidate for the position of Quality Control & Quality Assurance Engineer.
General Summary: The Quality Control & Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Engineer will create, prepare and implement the QC/QA plan. The main duties will be to develop and manage the quality control/quality assurance procedures and ensure contracts are up to the specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop written procedures for quality control/quality assurance
• Perform needed tests on site and in the laboratory to ensure conformity of material and works according to the contract specifications
• Establish and maintain procedures to develop standard documentation and quality control/assurance for the projects
• Maintain the quality management system in accordance with ISO 2001:2008 in the company
• Prepare, organize and support an internal quality audit program to verify that all activities of planning, execution and documentation are carried on in terms of the contract specifications
• Develop and conduct robust procedures for quality assurance
• Assess work activities for which labor based construction methods are appropriate and for those sections where heavy machinery is appropriate
• Supervision of the contractors in the implementation of the work
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Chief Technical Advisor/Project Manager
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering – preferred in Civil engineer, Electrical engineer or Mechanical engineer
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Quality Management System in a Contracting Company or Construction Industry
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Good Planning and Time Management
• Problem solving and Decision Making
