The company is seeking for candidates on the position: Business Intelligence Specialist
Ideal Candidate
-University diploma in Information Technology or Computer Sciences
-Very Good communications skills in English (spoken and written)
-Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Integration / BI / DW projects
-Good knowledge of SQL language
-Experience with databases such as DB2, Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase etc
-Good understanding of BI concepts
-Development and/or support experience with ETL tools like Informatica, SQL Server Integration Services, SAP Data Services etc
-Good knowledge of reporting principles and reporting software applications
-Experience with Business Intelligence tools like SAP - Business Objects, Microsoft / Oracle BI etc
-Data warehouse design / implementation experience is a plus
-Experience in SQL Tuning is a plus
-Unix scripting knowledge is a plus
-Banking/Telecom knowledge is a plus
-Experience on Business Analysis and/or Project Management is a plus
Responsibilities
-Build reports in response to customer’s requests with BI Tools
-Develop ETL flows that extract data from different sources and transform it to suit the customer’s needs/requests
-Performance tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting of ETL workflows and reports
-Participate in the different stages of a project, from analysis (good understanding of user requirements and functional specifications), development to UAT and Production support
-Work closely with team members and customer representatives
-Create and maintain technical documentation according to internal or customer’s procedures
Training will be provided to selected candidates in ETL tools, reporting tools and BI design at our Company’s premises and abroad. Also the selected candidates will cooperate with senior consultants who have vast experience on BI / DW projects.
