The NCBR, through the financial assistance of the European Union, will implement the Project "A vision to employment”, A national initiative towards a sustainable approach for the inclusion of people with disabilities in Albania’s labour market. It seeks high-level national staff to fill the following position detailed as follow:
Field Researcher: - Public Sector- Short term position for a national professional in the field of public sector research
Background in Law (University Degree), Social Studies / (University Degree) or Economics,
Over 2 years of direct work experience with public sector research/management in Albania
Direct working contacts with public sector throughout Albania
Work experience with the public sector (public sector research, representation, p. sector development, p. sector analysis)
Proven ability to perform professional direct/phone interviews and mass phone survey operations
Proven ability to administer large databases in Excel and Access (data entering, data management, filtering, cross-database management)
Proven ability to perform successful survey interviews
Working knowledge of the legislation governing labour relations in Albania

Short Term IT Consultant- Tasked with the design of national database according to the project work packages: link several databases, creation of website for the project, generation of database reports, testing, piloting of database, provide training on data usage; provide quantitative data analysis support for internal planning and policy needs;
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related field;
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in working with quantitative data analysis;
Demonstrated knowledge of statistical and programming software;
Working knowledge of English;
Excellent analytic skills and an attention to detail;
Ability to work in a team to meet deadlines.
