[FONT=&quot]Terre des hommes (Tdh), a Swiss foundation based in Lausanne, without preoccupation of political, racial or confessional bias, has been active in Albania since 1993. Based on its Charter and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Terre des hommes intervenes in 35 countries to improve the situation of children, to protect their fundamental rights and to guarantee their rights and access to healthcare. In Albania, Terre des hommes has been implementing projects for over 12 years to tackle issues of child trafficking and child protection. Terre des hommes is now looking into the opportunity to intervene in the health sector in partnership and collaboration with different local and international stakeholders.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Save the Children[/FONT][FONT=&quot] has been implementing programs in Albania since 1999, initially responding during the Kosova emergency crisis. Save the Children programs are mainly focused in the areas of Basic Education and Early Childhood Development, Child Protection and Child Rights Governance, Health and Disaster Risk reduction, covering various districts of Albania, both urban and rural areas. Save the Children focuses its work on capacity building and strengthening of services for children and the creation of a policy and legislative environment which responds to key child rights issues in the country. Save the Children also empowers and supports children to increase their meaningful participation in society. It acts as an advocate of children’s rights and influences decisions which will bring about changes in their future. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Terre des hommes and Save the Children are seeking to recruit a Communications Officer [/FONT][FONT=&quot]to design and implement a communication strategy for the national project to support effective project implementation [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Lead the communication strategy and campaigns[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Develop and oversee production and dissemination of high quality communications and media materials, and organise national and local events to actively engage project stakeholders and general public in the project activities and support realization of project objectives[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Provide technical expertise to project implementation team in using communications and media tools in health promotion activities [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Develop strong external relations with a diverse range of national and international stakeholders, media and partners within the health sector[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Qualifications and experiences[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

• [FONT=&quot]Masters Degree in Communications, Media, Journalism or other relevant subject [/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]At least 5 years of experience in a senior communications or media related role [/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]Knowledge of communication best practices and experience of using a wide range of media including social media and latest technology[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]Good knowledge of the Albanian health system[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]Proficiency in English and fluent Albanian language is an absolute requirement[/FONT]
