[FONT=&quot]Terre des hommes (Tdh), a Swiss foundation based in Lausanne, without preoccupation of political, racial or confessional bias, has been active in Albania since 1993. Based on its Charter and the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Terre des hommes intervenes in 35 countries to improve the situation of children, to protect their fundamental rights and to guarantee their rights and access to healthcare. In Albania, Terre des hommes has been implementing projects for over 12 years to tackle issues of child trafficking and child protection. Terre des hommes is now looking into the opportunity to intervene in the health sector in partnership and collaboration with different local and international stakeholders.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Terre des hommes is seeking to recruit a [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Technical specialist[/FONT][FONT=&quot] on primary and community health care. The technical specialist will be in charge of coordinating interventions and strategies for improved service delivery, particularly for children, mothers and vulnerable community members.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]- [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Technical specialist, [/FONT][FONT=&quot]expert on primary and community health care delivery[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Develop and implement interventions for improvements of health care services in collaboration with different stakeholders[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Pilot tools and interventions at local level with authorities and communities[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Coordinate community health promotion activities, in particular in remote areas or with vulnerable communities[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Support advocacy strategies for scaling up of pilot models[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Qualifications and experiences[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

  • [FONT=&quot]Advanced degree in health, preferably public health [/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]At least 5 years of experience in primary health care delivery[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]Demonstrated experiences in working with remote and vulnerable communities, particularly Roma and Egyptian[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]Excellent knowledge of Albania’s strategies, policies and priorities in regard to public health, particularly primary and community health care[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]Strong capacities to work and coordinate with various different actors [/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]Good team work[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]Capacities of analysis and research[/FONT]
  • [FONT=&quot]Proficiency in English and fluent Albanian language is an absolute requirement[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The titular will conduct his/ her duties in respect of the Charter of Terre des hommes, the Child Protection Policy and the Convention of the Rights of the Child. [/FONT]
