Actually Pharma One is looking for: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Senior Accountant will work closely with Finance Director to handle the company’s accounting processes. Those duties include managing financial reporting tasks, performing account reconciliations and analysis, and assist on compiling financial statements. In addition, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in month, quarter, and year-end closings, prepare audit and tax schedules.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Primary responsibility is to prepare management reports and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
• Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on monthly basis
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Assist with financial and tax audits
• Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
• Assist with quarterly producer commission reports; analyzing and correcting discrepancies
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Other projects as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALITIES:
1. University degree in Accounting or Finance
2. Strong understanding of accounting theory
3. 5+ years accounting/finance experience
4. Good knowledge of tax legislation
5. Highly detail oriented and organized in work
6. Ability to meet assigned deadlines
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
8. Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
9. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
10. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
11. Very good command of English language (spoken and written)
12. Experience in pharmaceutical industry is considered an advantage.
