Marketing Manager
Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), is seeking to hire a qualified candidate to play a key role in managing Marketing Communications and Outreach. The Manager is expected to be a key promoter in the higher education market, alongside hiring policies and recruiting strategies in private universities.

Qualification Requirements
Preference will be given to candidates aged (30-40), with proven relevant skills and demonstrated success in managing these type or similar tasks and responsibilities in the past.

Only short listed candidates will be asked to present a short strategy plan (around 10 min) on how to improve the CIT marketing and hiring strategy.
The deadline for submission is 25-05-2014
The ideal candidate will be able to start the work immediately following the selection and hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
The Manager is among the senior officers of the schools, whose specific duties relevant to the position includes, but are not limited to:
- Compose, direct and manage the recruitment unit
- Build and implement the Marketing Strategy
- Supervise the Directory of Marketing
- Develop proactive public relations and marketing strategies that will increase CIT’s visibility.
- Maintaining healthy public relations of CIT and a visibility of its activities.
- Searching, analyzing data and determining types and specific list of marketing means.
- Managing day-to-day outreach activities, including but not limited to representing the school at various gatherings and conferences/workshops related to students’ recruitment.
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum BA degree with preferable a MA degree on marketing.
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial work experience in marketing with preferably minimum two years marketing/hiring experience in academic sector.
- Proven ability of holding management position in marketing, directing and supervising teams of not less than 5-10 subordinates.
- Proven strong communication, organization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and counseling skills.
- Knowledge of legislative, regulatory, legal, and other issues concerning higher education in general and more specifically, private higher education institutions
- Proven ability to design and conduct independent and/or collaborative research in marketing sector or related areas;
