One of the world’s largest and fastest-growing oilfield service companies is establishing operations in Albania and is looking to fill the following positions which will be based in Fier:
Logistics & Procurement Coordinator
This is a key position reporting to the country management team. Responsibilities will be varied and consist of overall responsibility for the movement of equipment and materials along with the purchase of supplies to support Weatherford’s operations in Albania.
The candidate must have experience in the following areas:
Organizing importation and exportation of goods
Arranging transportation and storage facilities
Good understating of customs law and procedures
Procurement procedures
Graduate Engineers
Engineers are required to conduct our field operations and are at the heart of our business. The function of a Field Engineer is to plan, co-ordinate, control and operate the company’s equipment at the well site in-line with company policies, procedures and systems, Statutory Regulations and good industry practice.
Candidates for this position should hold a good technical degree and be prepared to travel widely. The company will provide extensive training.
Workshop Supervisor
Weatherford is in the process of establishing a permanent base to support its operations and requires a workshop supervisor to oversee the fitting out of the facility and then the operations within the workshop.
The candidate should have knowledge and experience of:
Supervising workshop staff
Maintenance of hydraulically operated equipment
Maintenance of diesel powered equipment
Working with high pressure equipment
Welding processes
Liaising with machine shops and other vendors
Candidates for the above position must be fluent in written and spoken English.
