Kosove, CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Our client is a Private Equity Firm active in investment projects in Middle East and the South Eastern Europe, about to start production operations in clothing industry in Kosovo.There is an urgent vacancy for the Chief Operations Officer in its new facility in Kosovo.
The essential duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Optimisation and improvement of the production (Washing, Sewing, Finishing)
- Optimization of the Workflows, processes and quality program
- Management of the growth
- Administration of purchasing and logistics
- Leadership and HR administration including recruiting (120 - 250 employees)
- Improve and develop organization capabilities through effective performance management and planning/utilization of human and capital resources
- Setup of IT solutions
- Setup a new payment system
- Contact the partners and troubleshoot the customer issues
- Reports to the CEO
The successful candidate should have:
- University degree in Mechanical or Textile engineering. Commercial qualification is an advantage.
- At least 5 years management experience in the fashion production industry, preferably in Jeans
- Cross-functional experience in operations
- Experience with variation of capacity and production operations, preferably in Kosovo or Albania
- Strong analytical skills as well as excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Fluent in Albanian;Very good command of German or English.
- Proficient computer skills, e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet.
- Ability to adopt to intercultural environments
- Will to relocate if necessary
Specific knowledge:
- Management of multilevel production processes
- Familiar with quality standards
