We are looking for a potential candidate for the position of Human Resources Specialist.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Human Resources Specialist
General Summary: The jobholder will be expected to coordinate all important functions such as hiring and recruiting and development, maintaining employee records etc.
CORE FUNCTIONS:
The job primarily includes coordinating work inside the HR department. The jobholder will maintain a detailed record of the turnover, is also responsible for consulting with managers and supervisors about company policies and procedures, and whenever necessary in helping them.
DETAILS OF FUNCTION:
• Helps employees and their managers in performance and disciplinary matters
• The job also includes consulting with practice managers regarding employee turnover, absenteeism, changes in work settings, employee motivation and recognition, and other employee related aspects.
• Other tasks assigned include carrying field interview campaigns and advertising, arraigning for all essentials needed for the recruitment drive, coordinating work with other staff members, determining employee performance appraisals and developing plans and strategies for the recruitment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A university degree; a minimum of two years of related experience. Proven generalist experience including the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels. Experience at recruitment interviewing and assessment at a senior level . Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
