Senior Sales Engineer

Our client, an Albanian company operating successfully in the industrial automation, exclusive distributor of well known brands of safety products and automation systems currently has an opening for a Senior Sales Engineer.

Job Summary:
This position will do outside sales to new and existing customers; identifying further their needs, engineering adaptations of products, equipment and services. The sales process is of a technical and commercial nature and will involve requests for quotation, negotiations and working closely with Management, Engineering and Procurement to ensure the best performance and to create sales orders quotation for tenders and business. Reporting to Sales Director.

Responsibilities:
  • Will maintain relationships with existing customers and work as a team player with the members of management and the entire sales team.
  • Create system solutions for the customer’s problems, including financial and performance-based solutions.
  • Must be organized and possess good time management skills to prioritize workload.
  • Identifies key customers and develops specific action plans to grow those accounts.
  • Is thoroughly knowledgeable of customer needs and current market opportunities.
  • Converts leads into opportunities by identifying the appropriate sales course of action, assembling the required sales team members and leading the steps in the sale process.
  • Develops relationships with buying influences within the customer’s organization which may include the facility manager, project managers or purchasing agent.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Automation/ Mechanical), with 3-5 years work experience in the local sales market.
  • Strong technical and commercial acumen. Previous experience in project sales, proactive procurement is an advantage.
  • Very Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software such as Excel,Word, graphic design (AutoCAD) etc.
  • Very good English, good Italian and/or German is preferred
  • Ability to establish excellent rapport with customer engineers, senior management as well as purchasing managers.
  • Strong communication skills and efficient work habits are a must
  • Results oriented with the ability to balance other customer needs and company targets.
