To this end we are looking for:

Didactic Director

Didactic Director Responsibilities include:
  • Oversees development and implementation of the didactic curriculum including ensuring course syllabi maintain compliance with IMSA Kindergarten Standards and policy for preschool education.
  • Provides administrative oversight of the didactic year including determining the teaching hours, weekly course schedule, maximizing staff effectiveness in institution and children.
  • Ensures that the program fulfills the instructional needs of the curriculum during the didactic year according to the standards of the MARS.
  • Oversees the didactic year assessment process of courses, instructional and the program curriculum.
  • Participates in the program's ongoing assessment, analysis, with primary responsibility for didactic education components.
  • Prepares and maintains didactic year sections of the children handbook.
  • Performs other duties as determined by negotiation at the annual performance review by the Administrator.
  • Engage in continued professional update and provide an annual report of activities to the Administrator.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (after 2010) in "Preschool Education" or
  • Undergraduate Diploma in “Lower Cycle” Management and Attendance (5-10-20 years) by MASR for Kindergarten;
  • Qualifications recognized by MASR;
  • Minimum of five years’ work experience as a didactic director;
  • Correct and creative in the implementation of the curriculum;
  • Implement correctly the law, normative provisions and the kindergarten regulation.
  • Proficient in written and speaking English;
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues.
  • The candidate must be competent with Microsoft office.
  • Must have effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and solid record keeping abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use discretion and diplomacy when handling sensitive and confidential information and matters.
  • Should be committed to a culture of diversity, respect and inclusion; demonstrated ability to build working relationships with people having a wide variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences different from ones' own.
  • Ability to adhere to institutions policies and procedures.
