We are ATIS (www.atis.al), the best Digital Factory in Albania with a staff of more than 60 people and with several years of experience. Our company specializes in custom web application design and development for clients from all across Europe.
We are looking for a Team Leader in PHP Development to join our team of passionate and driven individuals. You will be responsible for coding with PHP on the framework of Laravel. You will be a head of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through developing, testing and launching.
Responsibilities:
· Develop together with the team innovative, PHP-based tools to build responsive websites and applications with a strong focus on maintainability, cross-browser compatibility and performance.
· Guide the software engineers of the team, to ensure design standards are met throughout the lifecycle of the project.
· Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
· Participate in discussions with team members about technical best practices and help identify optimal technical solutions.
· Communicate to the management with efficiency and accuracy and communicate any progress and/or delay.
· Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
· Stay current on the latest trends and emerging technologies within the PHP community.
Requirements:
· At least 4 years of software development experience in PHP and at least 1 year experience experience with Laravel or Symfony framework.
· Excellent understanding of object-oriented design concepts and software development processes and methods.
· Demonstrated ability to supervise team members.
· Ability to troubleshoot and maintain mid-level to complex applications.
· Leadership and ability to guide design and technical meetings.
· Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
· Excellent knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
· Must have passion for development and latest technologies.
· Extensive experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc)
· Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
· English is a must, Italian is considered a plus.
