Tirana International Airport SHPK (“TIA”) is seeking for an
MECHANICAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

who will report to the Director of the Asset Management and Environment Department.

Main tasks and responsibilities of the position:
(for indicative purposes only. The responsibilities listed below can be subject of change upon recruitment)

  • Responsible for providing suggestion and evaluation of options for airport planning development strategy until the end of concession agreement
  • Responsible for preparing mechanical design concepts and concept drawings and sketches
  • Prepare list of materials and technical specifications to be used in minor project developments
  • Supervise the work of subcontractors including measurement of quality, quantity, progress of work and payment.
  • Responsible for monitoring compliance of executed works and services with contractual and legal requirements
  • Conduct site visits and inspections with the aim to monitor construction works and maintenance works/service including facility assets status
  • Conduct regular maintenance inspections of airport building, grounds, equipments, installations, etc
  • Prepare in coordination with relevant external experts and maintain full technical documentation folders as base for applying for different authorizations and permits from Albanian authorities
  • Responsible for maintaining the archive of all respective documentation of construction and maintenance works
  • Active support in the review process of relevant policies, procedures, manuals, SOPs, in relation to all departmental processes
  • Assist in preparation of tender documents

Requirements of the position:

  • University Degree in Engineering (Construction or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • Facility management qualifications
  • At least 3 working year of experience in related job responsibilities
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Analytical and numerical skills
  • Familiar with a range of facility management techniques and supervision of works
  • Ability to prepare quality reports; writing letters; preparing and delivering effective presentations
  • Committed to providing a high standard of service and continuous improvement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Adept at Microsoft Office software, Autocad, Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software
  • Fluent in English language
