Barrister Global Services, a US based company with offices in Durres, Albania is looking for a highly motivated Network Architect to help accelerate our growing business.
The ideal candidate must have a great combination of customer and technical engineering, design, estimating skills and project management skills. He also must have good communication skill set to interface with clients, architects, contractors, and company staff. By taking this role the candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the services we will provide to each customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Partnering with our experienced sales professionals to design integrated mission critical and high-profile structured cabling systems in addition to performing site inspections for quality control / quality assurance measures of installation work.
  • Determining and understanding our clients’ culture of use for structured cabling systems and workspace requirements, while applying leading edge technologies to meet those requirements. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
  • Leading conference calls in order to determine and create a Scope of Work for services we will provide to a customer, providing prices for services, and following up with quoted opportunities.
  • Primary technical resources for the field sales force.
  • Responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products.
  • Responsible for product and technology demonstrations. Must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
  • Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
  • Able to take the technical lead on the certification processes and provide the interface between technical customers and ATI product line management and engineering

The candidate will work remotely with our customers to:


  • Determine the data communications needs of the company they are working for and develop the best systems to meet these needs.
  • Determine cable layout and placement to selecting modems and routers, the resource will oversee the installation and implementation of computer network systems. Maintenance of documentation during the installation and implementation processes, manage staff and ensure that the project is completely on schedule.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
  • 3+ years in customer-facing positions
  • 5+ years hands-on, technical experience
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
  • High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
  • Proven working experience in commercial Structured Cabling systems engineering and installation services
  • Must speak English
  • Project Management Institute PMP highly desired but, not required
  • Proven working experience in commercial Structured Cabling systems engineering and installation services

  • Coordinate and develop system scope, design layout and drawings with client and other disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to physically perform customer site visits for opportunity meetings and site inspection
  • Ability to physically perform site visits to perform Quality Control / Quality assurance inspections
  • Perform site visits for documentation of existing system and building conditions.
  • Documented experience in SC industry standards and design principles, current and emerging SC technologies, building design, construction, and project management principles.
  • Proven ability to interact with all levels and departments including corporate project stakeholders, associated design disciplines, and construction/system integration contractors.
  • Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to accept responsibility for projects and see them through to completion.
  • Ability to handle and shift support focus across multiple assignments.
  • Able to work as an individual contributor and contribute as part of a larger project team.
