Monitoring Center Operator - Security & Administrative Affairs Department

Requirements



University or High School Diploma required (Preferably Bachelor’s Degree and Police Akademy Diploma)
Previous Experience on monitoring security systems center (Preferably alarm or video surveillance systems experience in state police, private physical security or banking sector)
Age up to 50 years old (preferable).
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Intermediate computer knowledge including Microsoft Windows
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Comfortable handling potential emergency situations
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and detail orientation
To have good command of English language (Turkish will be an asset)
Posing a driving license

Other Requirements:
Regular and reliable attendance is required
Shift work (24/7 environment) includes after hours, weekends, and holidays
Overtime may be required
Due to the security nature of the position, offers of employment are contingent upon passing a personality security check.





Tasks



To be responsible for handling all incoming alarm signal activities and taking appropriate action following standard procedures, including video surveillance and monitoring of security equipment’s.
To be responsible for making outbound calls in order to dispatch Police/Fire Departments regarding alarm activities while following standard operating procedures.
To resolve operational services and/or employee issues.
To operate all call center equipment and peripheral equipment.
To initiate necessary action when irregular signals are received or trouble develops.
To work with PFSC (SHPSF) and branch staff to ensure that signals are received properly and that circuits and signaling devices are restored to normal operation.
To notify appropriate authorities and bank related staff if alarm signal is received according to the standard procedures.
Must be able to adhere to standard operating procedures and special instructions.
To respond quickly and precisely to incoming phone calls.
To document all alarm activity / activity reports and ensure that they arrived to the responsible persons.
