The PLAZA Tirana is looking for a SPA Coordinator

POSITION PURPOSE

The Spa Coordinator must pay attention to every detail to create an environment of tranquil harmony for our guests. The leader of the day to day operation, who works with the Spa Staff to see that schedules are maintained, appointments are scheduled, calls returned and members billed accurately. The Spa Coordinator manages the Activities Center retail outlet, charging clients for purchases, replenishing inventory and inventory control.


  • Knowledge of SPA and Hotel standards and Company’s key objectives and vision plan.
  • Establish excellent communication with guests and co-workers.
  • Keep a clean and welcoming environment to attract guests.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Maintains a professional presence on the Spa front desk – answering the phone and coordinating appointments for massage, treatments, etc. in a polite and helpful manner.
  • Welcomes guests with courtesy and by smiling. Offers 5-star service at all time.
  • Promotes special packages or promotions.
  • Performs SPA tours for guests and explains how to properly use the facilities.
  • Books treatments and assigns rooms. Accommodates special requests whenever possible.
  • Performs cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, currency exchange and end of day operations.
  • In cooperation with Marketing Department develops the Spa’s marketing strategy and ensure a consistent image is being portrayed.
  • Performs Staff evaluation reports with action plans, effectively administer and monitor Staff scheduling procedures and demonstrate an exceptional level of professionalism for the Staff to emulate. Create a motivating environment of sincerity, warmth and fun for all guests and staff.
  • Maintain an up to date version of the Spa Procedures and ensure compliance; updating as needed.
  • Knows all safety and emergency procedures, is aware of accident prevention policies.
  • Understand that business demands sometimes make it necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift to other shifts.


CORE COMPETENCIES, CHARACTERISTICS AND QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience in Hotel Spa’s preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, team, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to express effective verbal and written communication in Albanian and English language.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
