A2 is a CNN exclusive news channel affiliate headquartered in a major production center in Tirana.

A2 aims at raising the standards’ bar in the Albanian news and information delivery by changing the media reality and offering a fast, accurate and credible news source.
The channel will feature the latest technology in the media sector and it will rely on CNN’s expertise in training and developing its professional team.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a marketing and sales background and qualifications:


  • Marketing and Sales Manager

The “Marketing and Sales Manager’ is responsible to sell advertising space in a variety of communication mediums, including online publications, television, outdoor billboards and digital screens, outdoor billboards and screens, event sponsorship, business information/data and online/digital.

Fluent Bilingual (spoken and written) in Albanian and English.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies,
  • To set the annual targets and plans with accordance with Administrator, Executive Producer,
  • To develop the department’s annual plan, forecast and budget for his department,
  • To ensure quality service delivery and customer’s satisfaction,
  • To develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction,
  • To formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote the brand, name and logo,
  • To identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics and cost factors,
  • To contact potential clients to describe advertising opportunities, face to face contact at presentations, meetings and business lunches or dinners,
  • To attend meetings to ensure your clients are fully aware of all potential advertising, promotion and sponsorship opportunities and to cement your relationship with them for the long term,
  • To develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the market place you work in, including regular analysis of competitor activity and identifying opportunities for new product development and new revenue streams,
  • To explain pricing costs to potential clients and negotiate a fee if necessary,
  • To work closely with the editorial features team to ensure all leads are covered and relevant information exchanged to the benefit of both parties
  • To bring forth a strong resources of techniques and methods to promote our products, services and public image,
  • To reach out to the market and cultivate the customer’s interest in our products and services in ways that strengthen our reputation and facilitate our continuous growth,
  • To conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures,
  • To organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media, TV etc.), exhibitions and promotional events,
  • To maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities,
  • To create a detailed plan that explains revenue projects, market share analysis, budget allocation, and audience,
  • Constantly tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of the campaign to recommend improvements and chart cost per customer spend.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field,
  • At least 4 years’ experience, in B-2-B selling, preferably broadcasting,
  • Experience in digital media and planning management,
  • Strong brand management skills along with organizational and leadership skills,
  • Excellent written and oral communication and people skills and ability to interact confidently with a variety of people from varying backgrounds,
  • Ability to persuade clients of the merits of the service they are selling,
  • Very good negotiation skills and ability to respond to objections,
  • Good awareness of targets and revenue and have strong self-discipline and attention to detail,
  • To be controlled, assertive, mature, flexible and innovative and to have confidence,
  • Ability to persuade and convince people of the merits of a product/service,
  • Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. WebTrends),
  • Understand and use television/digital marketing research,
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and clients while still meeting priorities and goals,
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, research and organizational skills.
