A2 is a CNN exclusive news channel affiliate headquartered in a major production center in Tirana.
A2 aims at raising the standards’ bar in the Albanian news and information delivery by changing the media reality and offering a fast, accurate and credible news source.
The channel will feature the latest technology in the media sector and it will rely on CNN’s expertise in training and developing its professional team.

We are looking for an experienced professional with an editorial background and qualifications:
- Presenter
The "Presenter" job position includes live presenting TV shows and topics with range of subjects from news, politics and social issues. This position introduces and keeps programs flowing, interview reporters, analysts, guests and all other participants in TV program, announcing stories and reports in credible and professional manner and generally make sure that everything sticks to schedule. This position will work on a variety of platforms and various TV programs.
Fluent Bilingual (spoken and written) in Albanian and English.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To introduce, host a program, to read the news, to create links between items, introduce and interview guests and interact with the audience, according to a program’s subject matter,
- To introduce reporters, offering commentary on current events, or making announcements or appearances,
- To research topics and background information for items to be featured on the program,
- To write and sometimes memorize scripts,
- To read from a script or autocue, or improvise,
- To keep the program running to schedule, responding positively and quickly to problems or changes and improvising where necessary,
- To keep in contact with the director and production team in the studio, via ear-piece link,
- To have a well-groomed appearance, articulate speech patterns and the ability to create a persona that resonates with audiences,
- To research and write their own material, often under tight deadlines,
- To read from auto-cues, learning a script or sometimes performing without formal preparation,
- To react quickly and positively to any problems or changes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications or a related field,
- At least 2 years of experience in media market and on “Live On Air” TV program,
- Excellent communication and presentation skills,
- Ability to both stick to a script and to improvise at any point,
- Performance skills and a clear voice for broadcasting,
- A broad range of interests, including current affairs,
- Good research and interviewing skills,
- The confidence and the ability to sell her/his-self,
- Awareness of media law,
- Ability to take initiative and make quick decisions under pressure,
- High levels of concentration and multi-tasking ability and to be creative,
- Good memory, for recalling facts, figures and scripts,
- Comfortable and natural in front of the camera and microphone,
- Ability to get on and connect with people, young and old, from a wide variety of backgrounds.
