AMD is looking for potential Database Administrators
Job responsibilities:
1. Operation on different Oracle editions (ORACLE Standard Edition & Enterprise Edition).
2. Operation with current database versions of Oracle 11 and Oracle 12, such as;
- Database Administration, including: Installation of databases
- Analysis and correction of database errors
- Use of ORACLE Enterprise Manager Cloud Control
- Carrying out recovery measures (especially with RMAN)
- Experience in dealing with ORACLE support (creation and tracking of service requests)
Requirements, skills and experience:
- IT-related academic education or equivalent IT work experience of at least 5 years.
- In particular, they have extensive knowledge and many years of experience with the ORACLE databases.
- Comprehensive experience in the operation of complex ORACLE database clusters based on ORACLE Grid Infrastructure (without and with RAC OneNode).
- In addition, skills such as:
- Database tuning.
- PL / SQL programming.
- Management of ORACLE Grid Infrastructure (ASM and Clusterware).
- Management and operation of ORACLE Enterprise Manager Cloud Control.
- Management of Backup & Recovery (especially with RMAN).
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling and data transfer (ETL).
- Extensive experience in support of developers.
- Good, sometimes very good knowledge of UNIX (including scripting).
- Extensive experience in implementation and cooperation in various migration projects (database and infrastructure migrations).
- Architectural support for complex database environments.
