Data Management Specialist


Purpose of position:

Support the entire business intelligence environment including the development of new projects
and the support of existing projects within the BI environment.


Duties:​


  • [*=left]Responsible for development of higher level data analysis architecture.
    [*=left]Convert customer requirements into sound business intelligence applications within the BI environment.
    [*=left]Provide evening and weekend on-call support to ensure availability of critical systems.
    [*=left]Responsible for creating and maintaining a secure database environment.
    [*=left]Responsible for coding, automating, scheduling and monitoring load jobs and maintenance routines for databases.
    [*=left]Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

    [*=left]Create and maintain data loads into the data warehouses from various data sources using ETL tools


Skills:
​


  • [*=left]Managing SQL Server databases
    [*=left]Writing and troubleshooting SQL queries and scripts
    [*=left]Excellent communication skills
    [*=left]Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
    [*=left]Able and willing to work in team


​

Experience:

  • Experience in designing/creating data warehouses for business intelligence applications.



Education:


  • University degree, preferably with major related to Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
