International Commercial Bank operates in Albanian banking industry since 1997. Presently we are looking for a smart, team oriented person who is interested for a challenging position within Risk Division team. Main responsibilities and criteria’s for this position are mentioned below:
Job title: Senior Risk Officer
Reports to: Chief Risk Officer
Location: Tirana, Albania
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The Senior Risk Officer is part of the Risk Division team and is responsible for analyzing risks across risk disciplines and assists Chief Risk Officer in managing Frameworks and Policy Governance. Responsible for risk management and risk implementation under Basel framework, provides assistance in the preparation of Recovery Plan thus creating the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] line of defense.
MAIN DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Fostering the risk culture within the organization
· Proactive identification of potential risks in processes / structures
· Compilation and on-going development of risk reports to key stakeholders
· Challenging the effectiveness of the risk framework, incl. assessments of weaknesses, suggestions of corrective measures, and monitoring the implementation of risk mitigation measures
· Provide subject matter risk advise to strategic and regulatory projects
· Performing of regular controls and conducting of special risk reviews upon request of Chief Risk Officer
CRITERIA FOR THIS JOB PROFILE:
· Holds a University degree in Economy. Master degree is a plus;
· Minimum 8 year of experience in banking industry, experience in enterprise risk management, financial analyses , operational risk, credit risk;
· Very good command of English language;
· Ability to identify and develop solutions for new/updated regulatory guidance;
· Working knowledge of Risk Control Frameworks (Basel etc.);
· Expert knowledge of risk techniques and practices;
· Advanced knowledge of various bank/government regulatory requirements and processes;
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
· Exceptional organization, analysis, decision making and problem resolution skills;
· Uses independent judgment to accomplish objectives;
