NACCON is contracted by German International Cooperation to elaborate a Visitors Guide for the North of Albania, with a focus Biodiversity. Other similar guides are in progress e.g. a Tourist Guide for Albania in German, Nature Guide Albania.
General Scope of the Position
The Tourism, Natural and Cultural Heritage Expert is a position for a skilled writer and editor in German, English and Albanian language. She/he will have responsibility to elaborate and edit text for smartphone applications and other digital media (Website) on cultural and natural tourism. He/She will coordinate the contributions of other writers including the quality assessment of native Albanian speakers. He/She will coordinate the editing work for websites and other digital products of NACCON-SYSCOM AL.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Elaboration and editing of text for digital content for applications and websites
· Manages and supervises content creation, development, editing and uploading of content to digital hardware
· Reviews, processes and edits information on natural and cultural heritage streaming from project’s partners and clients.
· Provide Interpretation in workshops and meetings together with other professional interpreters
· Support the manager of NACCON-SYSCOM with the daily administration of the company
Qualifications
· University degree or/and proven language and especially writing skills in German. English and Albanian.
· Experience in editing and writing of articles, publications, web publication or similar
· Experience in tourism management, nature conservation, architecture, art history, culture and heritage, history and anthropology, other relevant work experience are an asset
· Experience in management of projects relating to culture and nature tourism & cultural and natural heritage, architecture, management of digital content or art management.
· Experience in interpretation (simultaneous or consecutive)
· Strong interest in nature, heritage, culture and arts
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent writing skills in German, English and Albanian
· Excellent writing skills on the computer (Typing)
· Excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary skills
· Integrity and professional competence
· Driving License, driving practice and travel experience
