Program Manager

Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is seeking a dynamic, team oriented and result driven Program Manager. The ideal candidate will represent the entire business, and makes a positive impact with every customer, vendor, and employee.
A successful candidate will be able to interface with multiple teams and communicates frequently with clients on updates, information, concerns, and suggestions. You will establish a deepen relationship with clients by understanding their business objectives, and furthermore provide exemplary support as their primary contact at Barrister Global Services Network Inc.

As a member of the Program Management team, the manager will establish relations with Barrister Global Services Network Inc. Client Services. The role will support the Client Services team with all matters related to Program Management to include but not limited to program design and redesign, reporting underwriter program profitability and KPIs, and assisting in the implementation of client projects and process improvement initiatives. Working with a cross-functional team of Program Management, Customer Care, Finance, Underwriting, and Supply Chain counterparts, the role will identify initiatives to improve underwriting profitability and will work with the Client and Client Services team to gain Client acceptance.


  • Provide guidance to cross functional teams regarding process decisions, financial analysis, and claims operations
  • Analyze claim & enrollment processes in order to build analytical models for usage by partners in Program Management and other business units
  • Apply analytic techniques to assess underwriting profit drivers across various client programs using complex variables from multiple resources
  • Independently represent Program Management to all levels of both internal and external leadership including interaction with Client VPGM
  • Interact with the Client team and Client on a consistent basis to address ad-hoc questions/issues, present and sell-in Barrister Global Services Network Inc. products and functionality, and resolve Client concerns regarding the program
  • Develop an understanding of goals between Barrister Global Services Network Inc. & the client, identifying solutions that meet client needs while protecting Barrister Global Services Network Inc. profit
  • Partner with other Program Management members to develop analysis, reporting, forecasts and recommendations for program improvements
  • Assess economic impact of proposed operational and financial program changes

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of quantitative analytical within management consulting, financial services, insurance or other relevant sectors. Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Finance, or Engineering are preferred. MBA is viewed as a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

This position requires the ability to read, write, analyze and interpret instructions, professional documents and business publications. This position also requires the ability to write correspondence, reports and/or presentations and effectively present information to clients, employees and management.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Experience with Microsoft SQL is preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

This position applies mathematical-based methodologies to predict or support conclusions or theories. Such applications may include, but are not limited to, statistical analysis, algebra and calculus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires the ability to sit for at least 8 hours, however, there may be long periods where standing and walking may also be required. This position requires the ability to use hands and arms to reach and grasp, handle and finger as well as having eye-hand coordination.

TRAVEL

This position may require travel of approximately 5% of the time.
